LCMinutes 1.42 Is Out

LCMinutes 1.42 is out with some minor feature changes and bug fixing. Check the change history for details. The main changes are use KB instead of MB as the unit for data allowance (thus support data allowance like 3.8M or so), add character "+" into allowed number char in free number and special rates strings (so user can put number like "+14161234567" into special rates), and fix a call connection fee bug.

In the past half month I am a little busy on my personal stuff, which slow down the updating of LCMinutes. But I will try my best to keep updating LCMinutes so it will be more user friendly, less missing features, especially those important features like roaming charge, time based data usage charge mode, monthly usage exporting, etc.

hi Lyon,
my device got a chance to upgrade to windows mobile standart (smartphone) 6.1. Will your application work with that system?

Regards, robert.

Hi, Robert

I really don't know whether LCMinutes works with WM6.1 standard or not. I have not smartphone to verify that.

Best Regards
Lyon

Hi,
feel stupid to ask again about it but I woud like You to clarify those "shared flags" numbers from special rate numbers...

I have about 10 number enumerated in "special rate numbers". In case I call one of those numbers I want Lcminutes to take minutes from my Long distance minutes. For all other numbers I want lcminutes to take minutes from my daytime minutes. In case I call my special rated number it should take minute from long distance minutes, doesn't matter if I have any daytime minutes or not. Long distance minutes should be taken at first if I call any of my special rated numbers...

I put 17 in the "special rated numbers" code but then it took minutes from my daytime minutes whatever I was calling a special rated number or normal number.
Should I put 17 in the code to get my long distance minutes being spared first while I call special rated number?

Thanks in advance...

Hi, Robert

Daytime minutes will always be used before long distance minutes if they are shared by the same special rate number.

Maybe I should add a flag to indicate using long distance minutes first?

If that's not too much of work;) I'd be grateful because using LCminutes without that flag doesn't reflect my balance correctly.

BTW. I was thinking that 17 is responsible for using long distance minutes before daytime minutes... I spent so much time wondering what's going on:)
